Drive to Alaska
48This is my dream, I have not been to Alaska and I am writing about a dream drive I want to make some day.
I have dreamed of driving to Alaska, I think that would be a fun drive. I would like to start in Virginia and drive through West Virginia through Ohio then on to Montana. Look at all of the site between here and there. I would like to stop in every state on the way to Montana then move into Canada hear is my plain. I put together some ideas that I found on the internet. This is only a plain to start and gather some Ideas. I found a nice link with all of the communities on the Alaska Highway.

Let’s start the trip with a stop in Dawson Creek, British Columbia, Mile Zero, on the Alaska Highway.
I would like to spend a few day here on my way to Alaska see all of the site and meet the people of this place.
The next stop on are way to Alaska is Fort Nelson, British Columbia. I would like to spend a few days to a week hear to do some fishing and some wild life site seeing. Let’s get on the way north so we can make it to Alaska before winter comes.
Next Stop is Whitehorse, Yukon Territory and now we are in the Yukon area of Canada. Remember this is just a dream I have not been hear but I would love to go some day.
Let’s get on with my dream trip. This looks like a nice area to stop for a few days and do some more fishing.
Next stop, Haines Junction, Yukon Territory, I would like to see this area and spend some time hear too. This looks like a nice place to stay for a few days to check out the scenery and to do some hiking in the wilderness.
Next stop is Tok, Alaska, and we finally made it to Alaska “Tok is located at the junction of the Alaska Highway and the Tok Cutoff to the Glenn Highway, 200 miles southeast of Fairbanks. It is called the "Gateway to Alaska," as it is the first major community upon entering Alaska, 93 miles from the Canadian border”.
The next stop is Delta Junction, Alaska, Stop hear over night it looks like a lot of places to sleep and eat.
This is something I want to do some day I would like to take off the whole summer and pull my camper all the way to Alaska and back home. I would spend time in these communities’ fish, hike, and see some of the local wild life.
I kind of out lined what I would like to do during my trip. I would like to take the summer one year in the very near future and just drive with my family and just make it a once in a life time vacation. One vacation that my family will remember for the rest of there lives. When I do make the trip I am going to take notes, pictures and write an article about my trip.
